San Juan Bautista Festival in Augadulce

Monday June 24th 2019 residents and tourist gathered in Augadulce to commemorate a day dedicated to their patron saint San Juan Bautista.

This year the Mayor of Aguadulce declared this Monday as a holiday throughout the district so that its residents could participate in the events. 

Decree No.7 of June 10, 2019, which regulates the development of the festive activities of San Juan Bautista, in its tenth article provides "the closure of public, national and municipal offices on Monday, June 24.

At the same time, the private company in the community were closed and the public are invited to celebrate.

Mass,officiated by Edgardo Cedeño, bishop of the Diocese of Penonome took place at 10:00 a.m. in the local church. The afternoon processions continued with music and festivities traveling down the main streets of the city of Aguadulce.
