American Society of Panama helps schools

After the Playa Coronado Rotary Club presented the Counters Down Project to the American Society of Panama, the organization made a donation $513 that will goto supporting Panamanian students.

The Rotary Club of Playa Coronado’s Counters Down project, aims to help teachers and students by enhancing the ability to teach and learn arithmetic in their heads.

COUNTERS DOWN is a centuries-old game (with some new twists) that improves social interaction skills, helps teach arithmetic, and support memory.

The Rotary Club of Playa Coronado is reaching out for donations of games to schools in Panama, the purchase of a game for your own family’s use can also support the cause.

The donation of $513 by the American Society of Panama will towards student scholarships to be awarded to the top student game winners at the COUNTERS DOWN CHAMPIONSHIPS.

This money will also pay for 20 student games to be donated to 20 schools in Panama.
