Panama make Time’s top 52

Each year the New York Times releases an article with 52 destinations to escape to. This year, a few resorts on Panama’s Pacific Coast made us #4.

Similar to Vogue’s mention the two Pacific island resorts were Cayuga on Isla Palenque and Islas Secas Reserve & Lodge on a 14-island archipelago off of Boca Chica. Both are Eco-resorts, aiming to preserve the mangrove habitats that surround them, grow their own food,  and use their natural habitat to enhance the property. These resorts also have a no-plastics policy.

The New York Times article: 52 places to go in 2019 included a Ritz-Carlton Reserve property currently under construction in the Pearl Islands.

Also on the list was The Azores in Portugal, the Ontario Ice Caves in Canada and  Williamsburg VA. See the full list here.
