Out of Control Fire in Coronado

A fire broke out on en empty lot on calle Las Estrellas, in Coronado destroying all the vegetation and part of the fence enclosing the area.

"Bomberos" were called and extinguished the fire this morning but due to higher winds, the fire resurfaced and the "Bomberos" from San Carlos were called in to stamp out the fire.

The owner was on site and was complaining of a house where the owners rent out the home on week-ends for parties and people use his garbage bin as a drop off. The owner could not say what started the fire and did not speculate.

Coronado does not allow burning of garbage or of lots. Owners are required to keep their lots clean and the grass cut back.
