Pay your taxes with your Visa credit card

You will now be able to pay your taxes online with your credit card through the Directorate General of Revenues (DGI) as of January 29th, 2018.

Online payments can be made at dig.mef.gob.pa., and can now be made with debit and credit cards in person at the DGI offices nationwide, except in the province of Darién where the service will be available soon, according to the document of the Ministry of Economy and Finance ( MEF).

 A study called "Cities Without Cash", commissioned by Visa to Roubini ThoughtLab, revealed that increasing the use of digital payments in Panama would benefit the country by $1.6 billion per year, equivalent to 4.3% of GDP for consumers, businesses and government.
