Banco General reports fraudulent emails

Banco General informs its customers that a fraudulent email has been sent out requesting personal data.

In the email, the client is told that their online banking will expire if they do not provide personal and banking information. "If you receive this email, do not click on the link. Do not provide any personal information and delete the email immediately."

The bank wants to remind its customers that they will never ask for confidential information such as the customer’s name, password or any answers to security questions regarding online Banking. This information is the property of the individual customer and should never be shared.
