Batik Art Exhibition & Dinner Mixer

December is an exciting time! On Friday, December 15th, Coronado & Area Social Association (CASA) will be hosting a sit down dinner at El Rincon del Chef.

To complement the evening, Coronado Frame will host an exhibition for Batik artist Judy Fears. Judy will be showing a number of her original Fine Art Batiks. 

Each fabric painted batik is a unique piece of art. Judy’s has been doing batiks in Panama for over 20 years. Her work hangs in many important Panamanian homes and businesses. Judy is introducing a new series ’Orchids in Batik’. Come and see the beginning of this project.



Also exhibiting is Canadian Photographer and Digital Artist Michael Fantasia, who will be showing a number of his framed Panama themed prints.

In addition, Coronado Frame will have a number of Framed Molas for sale. These are small pieces that are easy to put in a carry-on and bring back home. They make great gifts!

 If you missed Chrisse B. Harwanko’s exhibition at her home gallery, we have a number of Chrisse’s limited edition prints in stock at the store at a 10% discount. Chrisse’s art is a local favorite and this is a super opportunity to get one of her beautiful pieces.

Mixed salad with Thousand Islands dressing   or    Cream of turkey soup

Pork chops in a mushroom sauce with sautéed potatoes  or /

Corvina in a Creole sauce of Shrimp and Carrots, Corn and Kidney Beans or/

Chicken Breast in Dijon Mustard Sauce with Rice with Vegetables
