A Healthy Happy Hour at the Beach
El Litoral BnB and Fitness Studio in Coronado hosted the first in a series of Healthy Happy Hours.
The events are intended to bring awareness to the need for ongoing health and fitness and to promote options that are available in the area.
Anne-Marie Bergeron, owner of El Litoral B&B and a certified yoga instructor is passionate about making the option for healthy living easy. Over the last 10 years, she has gradually created a center for fitness and wellness in her B&B, located in Coronado, on Punta Prieta drive, across from the entrance to Blue Bay Resort.
A Happy Healthy Hour on Nov 28th introduced a multi-disciplinary Premier Wellness Team available for booking through El Litoral B&B. The team introduced:
Blair Christink an alternative Spine and Sports Specialist, working with clients to correct alignment of the body’s musculoskeletal structure, enabling the body to heal itself without surgery or medication.
Saoul Nunez, a massage therapist who has been trained in Structural Integration techniques and Deep Tissue Massage by Skye Wikjord of Body Vivo studio.
Ann-Marie Bergeron, who holds regular yoga and pilates instruction, at El Litoral and Blue Bay Resort. Anne Marie offers one on one rehabilitation training using various techniques including Pilates Reformer beds.
The Healthy Happy Hour also introduced a taste of healthy vegetarian snacks and beverages, including beet chips and avocado shakes. Anne-Marie shared one of the juice recipes offered at the event:
Can’t Beet it! Made with carrots, beets, celery, oranges, Lemon & ginger. All go in the Vitamix or a very strong blender till everything has a smooth texture and you will have a very good and natural juice.
