The long weekend traffic plan

Starting Thursday November 2rd, 25 thousand members of the Panamanian public force will be on duty as part of the country’s “special transit operation.”

The traffic plan aims to ease the intense traffic the holidays create in the province of Panamá Oeste. The plan, which involved the inversion of one late coming from the city, has been divided into two phases, according to Ismael Herrera, director of Traffic Operations of the National Police.

The first stage begins from La Chorrera extending to Queso Chela in Capira, and the second goes from the bridge of the Americas to the Xtra supermarket in the district of Arraiján.

The traffic plan will continue until next Monday, November 6.
