Rotary donates defibrillators to Coronado and El Valle

If you are experiencing a heart attack there are now defibrillators available 24/7 365 days a year, at the El Rey pharmacies in Coronado and El Valle. These defibrillators have been donated by the Rotary Club of Playa Coronado.

The machines are completely automatic and will not supply a shock if the individual is not having a heart attack. However, if an individual is having a heart attack, the electric current (often called a countershock) to the heart, can help to re-establish a normal rhythm.
