Panama The Musical Launch Party
The Launch party for Panama the Musical will take place Sunday January 8th at CASA BLANCA 21 Guayacanas in Coronado at 2:00 p.m. sharp. The party is open to the public. Guests are encouraged to dress in flapper or beach attire.
The launch party will open the first day of the Panama the Musical Kickstarter campaign to raise money for the making of the musical. The Kickstarter goal is to reach $20,000. The full length broadway production written by Yolanda Van Der Kolk and Rob Brown tells a story set in The Panama Canal Zone and Casco Viejo in the 1920s and follows an American songwriter who falls in love with a Panamanian musician.
The play is set to premiere in English at the Ateneo Theatre in the City of Knowledge starting on February 1, 2018. However, to make the production possible, Panama the Musical must reach the $20,000 in their Kickstarter campaign. To achieve that goal, four parties have been organized for the launch. They will be taking place in Toronto, Canada; Ft Meyer Beach, Florida; Picton, Ontario and Coronado, Panama.
The campaign will start on Sunday, January 8 and run until Tuesday, February 14. To learn more about the play, listen to the music and donate, log on to www.KickStarter.com and search Panama the Musical from Feb 8th until the 14th.
