Dothan native working in Panama

newsnviews2.jpg(dothaneagle.com) Clint Wade and Dr. Steve Stokes take a break while on medical mission trip to the Gnobe Indian Area in northern Panama. Clint is the son of Tommy and Donna Wade of Dothan. Clint is a secondyear medical student at the University of South Alabama college of medicine and recipient of the Turner Medical Scholarship.
 
He looks forward to returning to the Wiregrass at the completion of his medical studies. The annual medical mission team consists of physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and interpreters, and is sponsored by Covenant United Methodist Church. It is one of many local and international mission projects funded yearly.
 
Stokes is also coordinating an international Rotary grant to construct a safe clean drinking water system for the Gnobe. The Dothan Rotary Club has obtained grants of $30,000 to fund the initial phase of the water project.
