Coronado joins the International Costal Cleanup

If you are going to be in Coronado Panama Sunday, September 25th, join one of the biggest International efforts to clean up beaches, rivers and lakes around the world! Read more about the global event here: The 30th International Coastal Cleanup. 

The Coronado Panama group will be meeting Sunday, September 25th at 8:00 a.m. at the public beach entrance in front of the Coronado Bay Condos. 

The event coordinated by Libre de Basura, will aim to clean up the beach, but since high tide expected to arrive at 10:30 a.m. the clean up may take place on the streets inside Coronado. This garbage will eventually make its way to the ocean either way the cleanup will be making a difference in the ocean environment. 

If you plan to join the cleanup, good items to bring along include gloves, water, and close-toe shoes.
