University of Panama (Universidad de Panamá) is located on Transistmica near El Cangrejo. One of the entrances is where Federico Boyd intersects with Via Argentina. It would be easier if you take a taxi to UofP and ask the driver to take you to Facultad de Humanidades. Walk up the entrance stairs and walk past the cashier’s office, through the doors. The office right next to the stairs is Centro de Lenguas where you can get more information about the classes and pay your tuition. The cost is $140 or $119 with pensionado visa. Credit cards are not accepted. The classes are called “Español Para Extranjeros“. The classrooms are on the second floor.
If you have absolutely no knowledge of Spanish then it would be much easier if someone can go with you to help you sign up. Ironically, nobody speaks English at the LANGUAGE Center :-) Have fun!
