Canada vs. the World 2016 Golf Tournament

This year the second annual 18 hole -Two Ball Best Net Golf Tournament will take place at Vista Mar golf, beach and Marina. The event was formerly between Canada and the United States, however in an effort to involve more players,

from more countries, the event became team Canada vs. Team World. Vista Mar resort is the major sponsor for this event. With their sponsorship the event is able to offer special low prices to participants.

The tournament will take place Thursday, January 28, 2016, with registration at the driving range from 8:45 am until 9:45 am. It is important to signup and pay ahead of time to ensure your spot. Fruit, muffins, bars will be given out along with score cards. Shot gun start at 10 am, and rules and instructions will follow registration.

The cost of the tournament for Vista Members is $25.00 / Cart fees included. The price for non members is $ 60.00, which includes golf, cart fees / practice facility, along with range balls, prizes. Also included is a buffet burger / with all the fixings, fresh off the out door grill along with french fries and a salad. Choice of a beer or glass of wine.

The Max handicap is 36. There will be skill prizes including long drive/ short drive, closet to the pin, ball in the water and more. Vista Mar has offered all players a discounted rate to golf a practice round a week prior to this event. Don't forget to wear your Country’s Team Colors Proudly!
Enter as a single or double. If you want to put your own foursome together this also works. Each team must have at least two (2) Team Canada Players and two (2) Team World Players. The organizers are happy to place players together according to your individual needs. If by chance you have a favorite foursome you care to play with and they happen to be all Canada players, I suggest you flip a coin to decide who will play for team world or vise versa.
