Saloon Hair Wellness

Aldo De Martino is professional hair stylist from Italy. With over 21 years of experience in the beauty industry, Aldo is the owner and lead stylist at Saloon Hair Wellness in Coronado.  

Aldo comes from a long line of hairdressers. His father, Vincenzo De Martino, has been a hairdresser for more than 40 years, entering the industry in 1974, his dedication to the beauty industry is clear.

Aldo began working with his father when he finished high school. Two years later he moved to northern Italy learning and working in cities such as Milan, Firenze and Bologna. As he traveled his technique and style improved, working with world-class stylists like Ronaldo Elisei, Salvatore Giaquinta and taking classes with international figures like Patrick Cameron, Vidal Sasson and Ana José.

Aldo assisted at the A.C.I.I.E.F (Scuola di formazione professionale) Academy in Naples for two years; an academy dedicated to the education of professional stylists. Aldo went on to manage the hairdressing sector in well-known hotels throughout Turkey and Greece before opening his own studio.

On 15 October 2009 the first Saloon Hair Wellness was born in Italy, Together Aldo, and his partners Danilo De Martino and Rita Pagan, established a successful brand, taking part in national events like the Miss Italia gala. In 2011 the Second Saloon Hair Wellness, opened its doors, managed by Aldo’s Cousin Silvestro Ferrigno.  

Aldo admits it was love that kept him in Panama. In 2013 Aldo to moved to work on the movie sets of “Hands of Stone” and “Historias del Canal” as a stylist. During this time he met his wife Chantal Cando.

In September Aldo and Chantal open the third Saloon Hair Wellness, right here in Coronado Panama.

Saloon Hair Wellness Salons are not your typical line beauty salons. Rather they are a place where music, literature and passion are the main inspiration for hard working stylists who believe in hair care.

The newest Salon in Coronado is creating and redefining beauty at the beach, by working with nature to create environmental options that will nourish your hair. Saloon Hair Wellness believes in a sustainable beauty, using products that contain natural ingredients of the highest quality and scientific results.
