Another Successful Blood Clinic

Cars lined the road of the equestrian community in Coronado on Thursday October 8th, at the Coronado Blood Clinic. Playa Community was the main sponsor for the event, providing snacks and beverages, for the second year in a row.

This year 30 people participated, with 29 donating blood.

Two administrators from the National Hospital came out with the team of nurses and doctors, one to observe and the other to put into practice the new paperwork.  At previous clinics the doctor in charge, Dr. Montero, did the paperwork on his computer, however this time the information was processed by hand.

All-in-all the clinic was a huge success. Thank you to Sheila Scott for & Panama Hospice and Respite Foundation for their hard work organizing the clinic and another big thanks to all those who participated.
