Chairty Poker Tournament Benefits Spay the Stays

On Febuary 20th, Janine and Pat Sullivan, held a Texas Hold' em Poker Tournament at La Ruina Restaurant. The entry fee was $20, of which $10 went to Spay the Strays (STS), the other half into the pot for winners. Along with donations contributed that evening, the Sullivans raised almost $500 for Spay the Strays.

There were 3 winners  (Left to Right - Mike  Wotoshek, Doug Smaill and Richard Burry)

The Sullivans will be hosting another poker tournament at La Ruina, Gorgona on March 20th at 5:30. Proceeds from this event will go to Capilla del Niño Divino for a water tank and tower as they have no water much of the time.  Players can pre-register @ janinemsullivan@gmail.com.

Spay the Strays will be holding our next clinic at the Gorgona Casa Comunal on Saturday, March 28th.
