Proceeds from Poco Loco Concert will help buy CASA Christmas Baskets

A message from CASA November 1 from 8:00 p.m. onwards Poco Loco will be playing at Picasso Coronado. This event is a CASA fundraiser to raise money for Christmas Baskets provided each year to 80 families with disabled children. The favorite local rock group, Poco Loco, is coming out of retirement for CASA and has offered to host this Charity Benefit Dance to help raise funds for the Christmas baskets! This Poco Loco reunion special may possibly be their last performance ever. So come, dance, have fun, and help families in need while doing so.

Over the pas 6 years CASA (Coronado Area Social Association) has aided a group in San Carlos that hosts a Christmas party for 80 families with handicapped children of all ages each year.  CASA supplies food baskets to these families, makes paper crowns, takes pictures and distributes balloons and candies, making it an event to remember! The baskets are filled with dry goods such as flour, sugar, pastas, beans, tins of tomato sauces, tuna, ham, sardines, vegetables, soaps, and other non-perishable goods at an estimated cost of $25 per basket.

This is an important event for these families. Poco Loco has generously volunteered to play a benefit concert to help generate some of the funds needed for the baskets.

So don't put your Halloween costume away yet, because the concert will be a Halloween dance! November 1, 2014 at 8:00 PM. Come all and party hardy! Picasso will have prizes for the  best costumes as the Silliest, Sexiest, and Spookiest!

Help us make a difference while having fun!
