Look up tonight in Panama!

This week the Delta Aquarid meteor shower is in its prime. The Delta Aquarid shower favors the Southern Hemisphere and tropical latitudes in the Northern Hemisphere, this means you are likely to catch a glimpse by taking a moment to look up at the sky tonight. Unlike many meteor showers, the Delta Aquarid lacks a definite peak; instead meteors can be seen throughout late July into mid-August. However, since we are currently in a new moon phase, now is the best time to enjoy these cosmic fireworks.

For the optimal stargazing experience find a dark spot facing southeast after midnight and keep you eyes peeled for shooting starts as the speed across the open skies.
