A 5.8 Earthquake hit Panama this Morning
This morning (Wednesday, April 2) at 11:13 a.m., a 5.8 magnitude earth quake hit 53km south of Pedregal, Panama. Pedregal is in the Chiriqui region near David. So far no injuries have been reported, although some schools have been evacuated. The earthquake was felt along the Pacific coast as near as Santa Clara. Other have reported feeling the quake in Veraguas, Colon, Bocas, and Panama City. Some people have evacuated their buildings on Costa del Este (TVN).
