MEDICAL FAIR IN CORONADO

  Arch PTY, a medical services company, providing medical interpretation, consultation and Specialist referrals services will be hosting a medical fair in the Coronado Equestrian Center on Saturday, March 22nd from 9:30 - 1:00 pm. The fair will host free tests for Blood Pressure,  Blood Sugar and Vnous Dopper, which tests the legs for circulation problems. Low cost vaccinations for Influenza and Strep Throat will also be provided.

Medical interpretations services for non-native speakers are common in Canada, US, Australia and throughout Europe. Misunderstanding diagnoses and instructions can cause dangerous situations for patients. Properly trained interpreters ensure that patients have proper communication between providers such as doctors, lab technicians and pharmacies.

Arch PTY services in Panama will benefit not only English speakers, but also Spanish speakers from different countries and dialects. Over the phone interpreters can provide service in 58 different languages, including German, Russian, Gujarati, Nepalese, Tibetian, Mandarin and Cantonese.  

Arch PTY interpreters undergo intensive training, from Columbia, Maryland in the United States and are trained in ethics and how to be with the patients. Services will include going with clients for tests, filling out insurance forms, ensuring pharmacies receive the right instructions from doctors, among others.
