PCF 'Christmas Joy Campaign' Finale!

The PCF 'CHRISTMAS JOY CAMPAIGN' for 2013 ended with a flourish in La Cresta last Saturday.  In addition to the weekly 'Comedor' (lunch room) that we hold, Santa showed up with gifts galore and a super sized, super good cake for everyone to enjoy!   The pandemonium was higher than normal for the lunch segment with a packed house, so much so, that my two little dogs headed back for the car to find some peace for themselves and get away from it all!  After a great lunch came the gift giving.  Each child (close to 70) had his gift pre-selected and marked and each of them was waiting patiently in line (more like a mob) for their name to be called.  In addition to the personal gifts, each got a sack with juice and fruit and on top of that each had their own 'haul' from the treasure which fell from the pinata!   Special thanks to all who contributed.

All in all, the PCF Christmas JOY CAMPAIGN brought plenty of joy to well more than 300 deserving and needy children in 4 different pueblos, not counting their parents teachers and local officials involved.  A job well done by everyone who took part and a special thanks to all!
