Buying Property at the Beaches? Here is a list of New Condos in the Area

It’s High Season in Panama. That means the hotels, resorts, and rental units across the gold coast will be filled with newcomers. First-timers will be exploring popular spots and becoming fascinated with everything this beautiful country has to offer.

Sooner or later thoughts turn to purchasing property here in Panama. After all, so many expats have already done it.

Panama is one of the fastest developing countries in Latin America and property prices are still relatively low. Many new implants feel there are more pros than cons to life in Panama, even though there are growing pains that come with the meeting of different cultures.

You might be thinking of full-time living, or a sunny spot to spend your winter months, or perhaps a managed rental investment, to grow your money. Whatever it is, now more than ever, there is a lot to choose from.

Over the past five years developments have sprung up all along the Pacific coast line. Beach properties offer residents a lifestyle that is hard to say ’no’ to: warm ocean waves, long beach walks, magnificent views and even surf breaks. Here in Panama, owning property right by the ocean or within walking distance is well within reach for many.

All the properties here are on the ocean and located between Gorgona and San Carlos. The list is based on information we were able to gather. Bahia Tower 2. Located in Gorgona, this tower by Groupe Corcione is still under construction. Pre-sales are likely still available. Royal Palm. Located in Gorgona is a condo tower by Empresas Bern, who has 2 other beach condos in the Coronado area. Pre-sale prices are still available. El Palmar Tower 1 & 2. Located in San Carlos, El Palmar is a popular surf spot for the area. Tower 1 is expected completion in February or March of 2014. Pre-sales are available for tower 2. This is being developed by Decuria group. Plans for facilities include a party room, spa, shops, gym, private beach area, kids club, cinema, squash court and restaurant. Rio Mar Tower 3 (The Pacific). Tower 1 and 2 have already sold out. Located in San Carlos,  this development includes condo apartments and single family homes. Developed by Grupo Moses, facilities include a spa, gym, restaurant, pool and social area. The area also boasts a nearby surf break. Prices range from $342,000 to $449,000.
