Rest in Peace - Jacob Erhler

JACOB ERHLER the editor of The Visitor / El Visitante died in a fall from the 30th floor of a building in Paitilla on Thursday, November 28, while celebrating American Thanksgiving. NewsroomPanama

I had the opportunity to work with Jacob for a period of time. We had some belly laughs and head-butts. Jacob had a huge vision and saw possibilities and opportunities where many didn’t. I hold deep respect for Jacob and all that he put his efforts to.

Through The Visitor / El Visitante Jacob made a lasting impact on Panama. He will live forever in the hearts and minds of the many people he touched throughout this country. 

I spoke to Jacob a week before he died, and his voice remains in my head. His death is a huge loss. My deepest sympathies to his family, friends and to Focus Publication. Rest in Peace, Jacob.
