The Unveiling of CORPRENSA’s 2014 Projects and sneak peek of the Bio Museum
Wednesday October 2 - Playacommunity was in Panama City at the Frank Gehry Biodiversity Museum for the unveiling of CORPRENSA’s 2014 projects. With over 15 publications including La Prensa, Mi Diario and Revista K, CORPRENSA is a leader of news media in Panama. The exclusive event was attended by many prominent figures in the community. Photographers snapped photos of the many well-dressed couples as they entered the building. Attendees were given a ticket to the opening of the Bio Museum, which will take place in January 2014.
After receiving a welcome package attendees were guided through the museum. Interactive stations were set up along the way, encouraging guest to get to know the CORPRENSA publications. Energetic spokes people including caricatures artists, theatre performers and Mi Diario personalities offered guests unique takeaways, including drawings, photos and even tickets to a Panama soccer game!
The event culminated with live music, tasty small plates, and a sneak peek of one of 6 educational galleries at the Bio Museum. Guests mixed and mingled around 15 “light box” pillars that illustrated Panama’s development in chronological order.
The event, and choice of location illuminated the rapid development of the country. We left excited about 2014 CORPRENSA projects, the highly anticipated bio museum and the future of Panama.
