Cabalgata de Reyes in Coronado
Every year, the Equestrian Club in Coronada hosts a Cabalgata, which is a parade of horse and rider that celebrates the equestrain life. The parade is a popular Latin American tradition. At the Equestrian Club, The Cabalgata de Reyes, marks the beginning of the equestrian season. Expect to see horses of all breeds with riders from all disiplines. This year's parade honors the Equestrian Club in Penonome, which is run by Don Gerardo Gonzalez. The parade will be led by Don Gerardo and his family. All horses will ride from the Equestrian Club to the Coronado Fire Station and back. Even if you are not an equestrian person, this event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the equestrian traditions of Latin American, and to see some of the finest horses in this area. The parade of the 13th Annual Cabalgata (XIII Cabalgata de Reyes 2013) will begin from the Equestrian Club at 4pm on January 5th, 2013. Come earlier to see the horses, enjoy activities and music. Food will be available for purchase. Entrance is free.
