Fashion Week Panama

Fashion Week Panama started of yesterday with the first of several runway events over the next 3 days, show casing fashion from many countries. There was an eclectic mix of styles from Wedding dress’s  from Pillar Sainz of Spain to men’s fashion from Jose Jhan of the Rep Dominicana. Each of the shows has a care group that will benefit from some of the proceeds and the first group was the Foundation Manos Amigas who look after young children in their centre’s. http://www.fundacionmanosamigas.com/index.asp   Shows are 3pm and 7pm Friday and 3pm 5pm and 7pm on Saturday, it is well worth the time to go see the show and help out a worthy cause.

 

Some of the other organizations that will benefit are Caza Esperanza, Fundacion Jesus and Operacion Sonrisa.

 
In the show centre are booths showing items for sale and top make up artists who were doing makeup demonstrations. Here you can mix with the models as many were interested in seeing the displays so a great chance for some photo shots or get a touch up on your makeup for the afternoon.
