The Gringo Rodeo
The Gringo Rodeo is back in town! Sunday September 2nd starting at 4:00 p.m., the Tate family is putting on their annual gringo friendly rodeo. Last year almost 3000 people attended the event. Admission is only $5.00, beers are under a dollar, and there will be popular Panamanian foods for sale. Music and dancing will go on all day, with a special performance in the evening by a well known tipico musician, Jonathan Chaves.
The Rodeo is a great way to get a taste of Panamanian culture, and get immersed in the local community. If you have been looking for a way to get out there and mingle this is a great opportunity to do so. The rodeo is being held at the Cruce de Santa Rita in La Chorrea, between Capira and La Chorrera.
