Mamma Mia bringing new bands every Saturday to Panama beaches
With the population growing at the beaches in Panama, more people are looking for things to do at night. Mamma Mia, a popular Italian style near San Carlos, features live bands every Saturday night. “People hear the same bands all the time. We want to freshen up the music scene”, says Tina Wilcox, manger of Mamma Mia. To enliven things, Mamma Mia is scheduling city bands, as well as calling on the familiar beach groups, like the Gorgons and Poco Loco.
This coming Saturday, July 4th, Mamma Mia is presenting INVICTA, a classic rock band, the members of which have jamming together since childhood. “They play hit after hit”, says Tina, talking about the last time INVICTA played at Mamma Mia. “They rocked the crowd, so we are bringing them back for our big Independence Day party”.
The band starts playing on July 4th at 7:30 p.m, and will go on until 11p.m. Come early to enjoy 2 for 1 championship pizza, and Inside Panama’s networking happy hour. Fireworks at dark.
Mamma Mia is located on the Pan American Highway, on the mountain side of the road ½ mile before San Carlos. Contact 6962-1363 or 6509-3528 for more information or to make reservations.
