Moderate earthquakes hit Central American countries, including Panama.

MEXICO CITY, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Moderate earthquakes Monday rocked four Central American countries of Panama, Ecuador, Costa Rica and El Salvador, but there were no immediate reports of victims or material damages.
In Panama, an earthquake measuring 5.2 on Richter scale hit the province of Chiriqui, west of Panama near Costa Rica, the State Geosciences Institute (GI) of the University of Panama said.
The earthquake occurred at 10:01 a.m. local time (1501 GMT) Monday with the epicenter at 50 km northwest of Puerto Amruelles.
In Costa Rica, about four earthquakes with magnitude ranging from 4.6 to 5.6 on Richter scale hit the south of Costa Rica near the country border with Panama.
The first quake with 5.6 magnitude occurred at 9:01 a.m. local time (1501 GMT) Monday with the epicenter in Laurel, in the province of Puntarenas.
In El Salvador, 74 earthquakes shook the central zone of El Salvador since Sunday night.
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on Richter scale was reported at 6:33 p.m. local time (0033 GMT Monday) Sunday night in Ateo municipality in La Libertad province.
Meanwhile, a feeble quake with a magnitude of 4.2 on Richter scale hit the province of Manabi, west of Ecuador at 6:58 a.m. local time (1158 GMT) Monday.
