We’re Half Way Through the Donor Match!

It’s now half way through September so here’s a progress report for the Spay the Strays donor match.  We have received money from 26 people for a total of $2,297.00.  That is 46% of our goal! We would like to give our sincere thanks to each person who contributed to this. When that amount is doubled by our sponsor, we will have $4594.  That is so significant because in March, we paid Spay Panama $4585 to spay and neuter 214 animals for our annual big blitz in Gorgona.  All other monies we raise help to fund the smaller clinics that we do in villages throughout the beach and mountain area.  Currently, we are planning a clinic on the 24th in Picacho and then we have 65 animals on a waiting list from our last clinic in Chame.  If you would like to help with this effort, remember your donation will be doubled until 30 September.   Just send an email to spaythestrays@gmail.com or call Mary at 6590-4498, Sheila at 6656-9929, or Barb at 6630-8630.  If it is easier, you can drop an envelope off at Mailboxes, ETC with Mary’s name on it.  Thank you for your ongoing support!
