‘Just Relax’ at El Litoral… CASA Book Exchange in Coronado

Ahhhhhh….  Looking for a time and place to just sit back and relax…..review  a good book….perhaps sip  a cup of coffee, cappuccino or tea, enjoy a scrumptious slice of banana bread or breakfast cake?  Ummmmm…Let me see.  Where do I find that in Coronado??  Peace and quiet, comfortable chairs, and a place to “Just Relax.”  Look no more!!   All you need to do is to visit El Litoral, located across the street from the entrance to the Club and ready to help you enjoy a relaxed lifestyle.     Recently, Coronado Area Social Association (CASA), moved all of the books for the ‘Book Exchange’ to El Litoral.   From that day on, Anne Marie Bergeron, and her husband, Rene, have worked diligently to make it the most ‘Welcoming’ place in all of Coronado.  No need to feel hurried if you don’t want to be.  There are comfortable chairs, a small couch, air conditioning and plenty of time to peruse the rows of book, read a few pages, decide what you want, purchase a delightful ‘snack’ if you choose, and sign out the books you have decided you really want to read.  The Book Exchange is open for business on Monday - Friday, 10 -2.

 
This project is supported by CASA, and all we ask is that if you have a book or books to bring to the exchange, you take the same number out; OR, if you do not have books to bring, you leave one dollar for each book that you take.  Everyone is welcome.  You do not need to be a member of CASA to participate.  
 
In addition and as a recommendation, I recently had the opportunity to enjoy a very relaxing and tasteful lunch at El Litoral with business associates.  If my timing is right, we were there for our meeting and lunch for over two hours and, not for one moment, did we feel that we were being rushed.  Our hostess, Anne Marie, had prepared a scrumptious meal of two different quiches, two different salads, breads, dessert and Sangria.   It was a leisurely, relaxing opportunity for all of us.  Anne Marie had perfect timing to make the meeting and meal go smoothly.  Just think!  This might well be the ideal place for you to enjoy your next ‘special’ event with friends, neighbors or out-of-town guests.  For your personal reservation and menu selection, please call Anne Marie at 6658-1143 or 240-1474 or email her at anne_mariebergeron@hotmail.com.
