Powered Paragliders Prepare for Ocean-To-Ocean World Record Flight in Panama
{mosgooglecenter} The Flight for Life Powered Paraglider pilots have now all arrived in Panama and are busy with last minute planning and preparation for their historical ocean-to-ocean flight tomorrow. During the record breaking flight. Remy Swaab will be in communication from the air, with support staff and media using blue tooth capabilities in his helmet. The event’s launch, expected to begin at 7am tomorrow morning will be covered by 98.9FM Ultra Stereo. The flight is estimated to last around 2 hours. The World Air Sports Federation will be on hand to validate the world record. Supporters, friends and fans wanting to catch a glimpse of the flight, will be able to spot the flyers from the Pedro Miguel locks as they fly through. To reach the Locks, take first right after crossing the new bridge on the way to Panama City. You should be able to see the flyers from the Locks around the half way mark of the journey.
