Fused Glass Workshop in Coronado

Marcie Preisler will begin teaching Fused Art Glass workshops at the Coronado Beach Bed & Breakfast beginning in May. Fused Art Glass is created by melting different pieces of glass together to make beautiful designs for jewelry, sun catchers, and many other kinds of art pieces. The class will consist of two 4 hour sessions where participants will be able to finish at least three pieces of art which they can take home at the end of the class.     The Art Glass Class will be conducted in the relaxed atmosphere of a large bohio by the pool, with refreshments provided. Students are welcome to jump in the pool after class and hang out gabbing about glass. The class will be taught by Marcie Preisler, who has many years of jewelry and glass making experience. She has a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico and has an unbridled enthusiasm for teaching these art crafts to others.

The Fused Art Glass Class will be $150.00 per person, and the first class will be held Monday May 5th and Wednesday May 7th from 8:00am to 12:00 Noon. All glass supplies, tools, and jewelry findings will be included in the cost of the class.
