Five days of free viewing of international riders and their horses

(PanamaNewsRoom) Dozens of  worls class riders from the USA, Canada, South and Central America will be competing at the International Show Jumping Championships (ISJC)in Panama, February 15-20.

Panama is becoming a recognized center for world class equestrian events and is hosting the ISJC one of the most important and exciting show jumping competitions in Latin America for the sixth time.
The event was born 8 years ago and celebrated for several years at the Coronado Equestrian Club.

After a lapse of 2 years of not being held in Panama; it was decided by the Equestrian Society that it would be held at the outstanding new facility, Castilla Del Oro in 2009 but the host club was still unfinished.
The center hosted the Central American Games in 2010, and now will stage the ISJC backed by sponsors like
Sony, BBVA, HSBC, Bavaria Motors, Financiera Pronto Cash.


Behind and in front of the organizing commiitee is Chairman Heraclius Barletta - who wears many hats; from trainer to, oganizer, rider tofather and more.
At the event you will see Heraclius running and changing clothes for jumping and then for interviewing media. Alongside is Carlos Padron who is the dream maker force behind the fantastic facility and still finds time to check every detail of each event.

Competition runs from February 15 through 20 at Castilla Del Oro, Pedregal, Villalobos with events from 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m
Admission is free and there is lots of food, BBQ and fun for all so, Europeans and Canadians are now realizing that Panama is a thriving equine sports country.

This event is the most highly acclaimed show jumping championship in the country Come and join in the festivities and cheer the riders.
