Clayton residents 7 year itch comes to a happy end

(PanamaNewsRoom) If you live in Clayton you can breathe easier and maybe suck in the air from the expanded Parque Nacional Camino de Cruces (PNCC).

After a seven year discussion over redefining the boundaries, it is to be expanded by by 528 hectares.

Agreement has finally been reached among the various agencies involved and the additional land will expand the park to 4,981 hectares.

The move got the thumbs up from the Association of Owners and Residents of Clayton, who feared the land was going to fall into the hands of developers.
Association President Manuel Campos called the decision to preserve the area’s eco system a victory for future generations.
