Gasoline prices continue upward

alt(Newsroompanama.com) Gasoline prices in Panama will climb again on Wednesday, December 29, with 95 octane up by four cents a gallon and 91 octane by seven cents. 

 
Currently, a gallon of 95 octane costs $3.46, and 91 octane $3.25.
 
As the price of oil continues to rise, analysts are predicting that it will reach $100 a barrel in 2011 and prices at the pump will reach $4, and move towards the 2008 record of $4.50 a gallon.
 
OnThursday December 23, the price of a barrel of oil closed at $91.51, and OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) gave no signs signs of increasing production.
