Former First Lady Will Appear Before Prosecutors On Monday

alt(Panama-Guide) - Panama America -  The former First Lady of the Republic, Dora Boyd de Perez Balladares, will return to the offices of the Special Prosecutor for Organized Crime on Monday as part of the investigations for alleged money laundering against former President Ernesto Perez Balladares. "The defense lawyers of Pérez Balladares in conjunction with his family decided the former First Lady will attend the subpoena on Monday at the prosecutor's offices at 2:00 pm on Monday," said Luiz Cabezas, the legal representative for Ernesto Perez Balladares, on RPC Radio. He added that the sworn statement made by the wife of the former president is unnecessary since it is based on the innocence of her family. According to experts of the Public Ministry, they have not found irregularities in the investigation for the alleged money laundering against Perez Balladares.
