IDAAN Has Recovered $8 Million Dollars Owed To The Institution

alt(Panama-Guide) - La Prensa - Panama's Institute of Aqueducts and Sewage Systems (Idaan) has managed to recover $8 million dollars of the total $120 million dollars owed to the institution. This was reported by Tomas Guerra, the National Commercial Deputy Director of the IDAAN. He said service cuts will continue, which is the tool they have been using to stop the growing rate of accounts in arrears, which was increasing on average by about $10 million dollars per year. He added that so far this year they have made about 70,000 cuts to water service, and through this process they have recovered about $4.5 million dollars just in the provinces of Panama and Chiriqui.
