2010 license plates will appear in 2011

alt(newsroompanama.com) If you have been driving around Panama in a shiny new car without license plates plates throughout the year, take heart.

Over 300,000 license plates will be delivered by the Chapala vocational school for use in 2011, according to the Transportation Authority(ATTT).

Celso Córdoba said that the agency will deliver only the license plates that have been requested by each municipality and each has submitted a list. With luck, your name may be on it.

Although Córdoba did not specify a date on which the plates will be delivered by the school, the first batch is expected by the beginning of December.

In 2009 560,000 license plates were distributed. None were passed out year because of manufacturing problems and reports of bureaucratic snafus.

Recently it was announced that the problem would quickly be solved by passing the order for the plates to a German company in Panama. Now the ball has been passed back to the original makers.
