Search Continues For Three Missing Children in Bocas del Toro

(Panama-Guide) The three children who were swept away by the Changuinola River in the province of Bocas del Toro province have not yet been found, despite the search and rescue efforts to find them, said the Director of SINAPROC, Arturo Alvarado to the TVN correspondent in the region Leonardo Machuca. Alvarado said the provisional report on the floods across the country, is that two people were killed, and there are three missing children. They have been searching for the children for several days, which has not yielded results, but both the family and rescue workers suspect the bodies could be recovered today near the dam of the AES. The rivers in Bocas del Toro are returning to normal after the floods, although the satellite shows a clearer time, it is still raining in the mountains, said SINAPROC Director Arturo Alvarado.
