alt(Panama-Guide) - Dia a Dia - She was discharged from the hospital. That was the decision made by the doctors at the Santo Tomas hospital with regards to a Chilean missionary who came to Panama from Haiti, enroute to Venezuela, who was detected on Wednesday of having symptoms similar to cholera, which is why she was admitted to the Hospital Santo Tomás by order of the Department of Epidemiology, of the Ministry of Health (MOH). The woman had made an obligatory stop at the Tocumen International Airport. Yesterday it was reported that the Gorgas Memorial Institute denied that it was a case of cholera. However, it was agreed that passengers arriving from Haiti will be required to fill out an affidavit of health on arrival in Panama.
