Mexican Night at La Carreta

Last Friday night, La Carreta restaurant hosted a Mexican Night. Three special tequila drinks were featured along with an excellent Mexican Buffet.  About 80 to 100 people enjoyed the buffet of Mexican foods that included soup, salads, chicken, fish, pork dishes and rice as well as a “Make you own Taco” station.   For dessert they offered Flan de Coco, Tequila Cheesecake or Dulce de Chocolate.The Mexican theme was enhanced with a Mariachi Band. They played 2 sets of about 30 minutes duration. During the second set they played and sang while wandering among the patron’s tables.

Generally, comments were very positive - especially the food.  The people I talked to were pleased with the buffet.
