SINAPROC Warns About High Tides This Weekend

(Panama-Guide) - telemetro -  Panama's National Civil Protection System (SINAPROC) has issued an alert due to high tides that will be hitting the country throughout this weekend. SINAPROC units remain on alert in order to respond to any situation that may arise in case of heavy rains, which can cause flooding if they coincide with high tides that may be reaching 18.5 feet. It is recommended that people living near flood-prone areas remain vigilant. SINAPROC also also urges caution to coastal populations and small boat operators.
