Two Criminal Judges Resign

La Estrella learned judge Alvarado has resigned in order to accept retirement as of 15 August 2010. For its part, the President of the Supreme Court, Anibal Salas, said "everyone who works in the judiciary has the right to resign." Regarding the designation of Jorge Brown, who until recently was the assistant to the Judge of the Second Tribunal, Joaquín Ortega, as the new judge in the Sixth Criminal Circuit Court, Salas said they are "giving him an opportunity'.
