Immigration Has Issued More Than 77K Permits This Year
(Panama-Guide) - Panama America - The National Immigration Service in the first five months of 2010 has issued about 77,890 permits (identity cards) in various categories allowing foreigners to stay in the country legally until their paperwork or extensions are decided by Immigration. According to official information, Immigration has issued 64,992 identity cards, 6,596 one year extensions, 2,169 temporary work permits, 1,749 permits for documents filed, and 698 cards for mariners.
