Three More Cases of Equine Encephalitis Detected
(Panama-Guide) - La Estrella - The Ministry of Health (MOH) yesterday reported three new suspected cases of equine encephalitis. The three persons affected, all children, have been admitted to the Children's Hospital in Panama City. With these new cases to total number of cases detected rises to eleven. Of those, seven remain hospitalized - five in stable condition and two in critical condition - another three have been discharged from the hospital, and one died.
