Former President Mireya Moscoso Named By Gringo in Million Dollar Real Estate Scam
(Panama-Guide) - La Prensa - An American citizen, Sigmund Andrew Eisenschenk, filed a criminal complaint for the alleged commission of the crime of fraud against four Panamanians who supposedly were selling property owned by the former President of the Republic, Mireya Moscoso. The lawsuit, filed Monday in the Public Ministry, said that Eisenschenk delivered $1.1 million dollars to the four Panamanians, in exchange for shares in a company called Pacific Sands, whose directors and officers are Moscoso, Mirna Pitti, and Marixenia Moscoso.
