Panama Declares Nationwide Alert Due To Equine Encephalitis Outbreak
(Panama-Guide) - La Prensa - Panama's Health Minister Franklin Vergara said Wednesday they have declared a "health alert" in the entire country due to the outbreak of equine encephalitis that was first detected in the Darien province and parts of the Eastern part of the province of Panama. Vergara said the situation is under control in the Darien and in Eastern Panama province, where the cases were detected.
